Thank you

Dear Andrew,

When I came to you for a wig fitting, I had little hope of finding something that I would like. I came to your salon before I lost my hair to cancer. The minute my husband and I walked in, we knew that we had come to the right place. You were busy with a client, yet you took the time to greet us and took us to a private room to try on wigs. You have a great personality and made us completely comfortable. We were impressed as to how much time you gave us to select a wig.

Now that I lost my hair, I'm happy to say that people think that I got a better haircut, not a wig and I get compliments on my hair all the time. I can't thank you enough, you made hair loss bearable and now I feel more adventurous and can't wait until my new hair comes in and I can come to you for my first cut. Thank you for making me look good during this time. Looking good made me feel good and positive. It made it easier to deal with cancer.

Always grateful,
Hannelore M.

Thank you

Dear Andrew,
Thank you very much for referring me to the American Cancer Society and making the whole experience of obtaining a wig and shaving my sister's head a pleasant one.

Your expertise, manner and sensitivity were greatly appreciated. Words cannot express how deeply grateful I am.

Sincerely,

Thank you!

Dear Andrew,

I will never forget my somewhat "WILD"-paced experience with you at Face Station in May. I had flown in to meet you for a wig fitting and from the very beginning you could not have gone to greater lengths to help me be totally satisfied and comfortable with the new wig for chemo effects. I love the wig you chose and trimmed to fit my "look". Not only did you do your magic, you went well beyond and cut into your own personal time to help me bring it home with me that day. Remember the taxi delivery and then the rush for your train and for our plane, luggage in tow?
You are a fantastic guy who really delivers! You went beyond the beyond to help me...thank you, thank you!

"Andrew is the best "hair friend" a newly diagnosed breast cancer individual can find...compassionate, super talented, and "there-for you".

From the moment I saw Andrew online and contacted him his responsiveness and sensitivity were apparent. He reached out immediately understanding the urgency I felt. When I visited his salon in NYC not only did he find the perfect wig for me but went to personal lengths to assure I could bring it home with me that day. The amazing thing about Andrew is that he stayed well beyond his regular hours to wait for me and style the wig. He put my comfort ahead of his own. I will forever be indebted to Andrew for his 1st class help and artistry. He is a man with a big heart and big talent.

Many thanks, Andrew!

Signed: "C"

An Angel in Lexington Avenue:

Thank you to Andrew and his staff I recently met Andrew after losing my hair to chemotherapy. my experience with him was like going shopping with my best friend. He was able to help me pick a wig very close to my own color and similar in hairstyle. This wig not only made me feel like myself again but also lifted my spirit and self-esteem. Andrew demonstrated excellent knowledge, compassion and honesty. I appreciate his generosity and accommodation. He even sent me home with a sample wig until I get delivery of the wig I purchased.

Andrew, you are the Lexington Avenue Angel. God bless you.

Thank you so much for your care and attention to my mother last week. She was in denial, as I guess many cancer patients are. The wig is awfully close to her real hair, and shes come around to liking it. Most important in that is probably the way she felt about the whole experience: privacy; no rush, even in your busy salon.

As for me, I will be in for a cut and color job soon.

All the best,

Mary G.

Re:

Andrew,

I am so grateful for the beautiful wig you gave me last week at Hope Lodge. I tried several times to post my thanks on your web site & was unsuccessful. I know it was my lack of computer knowledge. But it was a pleasure meeting you, hearing about your son & getting this fantastic wig.

Sure appreciate you as one of the good, special people in life.

Re: Eyebrow tattoo

Andrew,

Im wearin my wig! And loving it!!

If you have any question if this is the place for you to go for your wig....THIS IS THE PLACE!

Andrew is low key and yet very involved in whats best for you. Everyone who works for him is sweet and knowledgeable. I was very well taken care of and I couldnt be happier...After 3 years of badgering from my husband to go get something done about my hair (chemo 7 yrs ago and hair went from fabulous fro to a ball of just-better-than-fuzz on top of my head). I was pretty resistant, but finally figured out that a wig was the best thing for me and I dont think Ill ever take it off.

Thank you Andrew.

Eilene from the Berkshires!!!

Thank you to Andrew and his staff! My recent experience at Facestation was a very positive one. First of all, the low-key, private atmosphere that is provided for hair loss patients is great. Andrew is an attentive, proactive, compassionate person who takes great care of his clients. I experienced a type of humanity at Facestation that I have never received from any of my doctors. Weeks before my consultation, Andrew had spent more than a 1/2 hour with me on the phone discussing my options and his line of work-he stepped out of a family event to take my call! So when I walked in for my appointment, I arrived already with a sense of trust that Andrew and his staff would definitely work with me to find a solution to a frustrating medical issue. And thats exactly what I experienced at Facestation from start to finish! I feel that Andrew understands the sensitivity of alopecia and that his ability to simultaneously empathize and provide real options for coping with it is just awesome. The thing about Andrew is that he is far more interested in the - big picture - of making clients happy and satisfied while running a good business than simply making his final sales. I experienced this sort - customer-first - service firsthand when I wasnt totally satisfied with the wig we had ordered and another European hair wig fit like a glove for me. Andrew, without hesitation, stepped in and sold me the European wig at the price of the other one, which was a generous accommodation. In these ways and more, he very much practices what he preaches, which I think everyone knows is pretty unique (and well appreciated) these days! Andrew goes the extra mile to meet the needs of his clients, which is something I really appreciate. I left Facestation with a beautiful, undetectable wig that is more than everything that I had hoped to find in my search for a solution.

Just about an hour after I left the salon, I was browsing a store in NYC when a woman stopped me and asked if I just had my hair done! That was so cool to know that Andrews wigs appear so natural--and so beautiful-that a perfect stranger would approach me like that.

Wigs for Cancer Patients NYC

Dear Andrew,

When I read your email message, I burst into tears. I cried a lot over the past year -- mostly from fear, sometimes from discomfort, occasionally from seeing friends pull away because they did not know how to deal with a friend with a diagnosis of cancer, and always from the sense that I was losing control over my life and that this - cancer patient - who stared back at me from the mirror could not possibly be me. But sometimes the crying was a reaction to extraordinary kindness coming from unexpected places -- and that is the kind of tears I shed when I read your email message.

They say that losing your hair during chemotherapy treatments is one of the worst parts of dealing with cancer. That sounds silly -- are we really that vain? -- but it is true. It is not really -vanity- that makes it so difficult. Cancer transforms you; it changes your perception of life. You learn to live with this new reality -- you must learn how to live with it -- but it is nice to be able to escape that reality from time to time. But losing your hair does not ever let you escape. You feel it in the shower. You see it in the mirror and in the eyes of people as they look at you.

But the wig ... the wig. It allowed me to -be myself- so that I could focus on other things, on important things, on life. It was close enough to my own hair color (salt and pepper) to pass for my own hair. It was a similar hairstyle. It allowed me to look into the mirror and see -me, not a -cancer patient-.

The experience of buying the wig was smooth and effortless. The process of choosing the right wig for me -- the privacy of the room and the sensitivity during the session when I tried on samples -- was done in a way that minimized my anxiety and, in a way, was even fun. The wig looked great and was comfortable. My hair has grown back and is now long enough to require a haircut. I am looking forward to my appointment at FaceStation for my first haircut!

With gratitude,
Tina A.

Re: Wigs for Cancer Patients NYC

Dear Andrew,I will call Trini to make an appointment for next week. Thank you very much! Enjoy the rest of your vacation, and I will see you when you get back.

You will recognize me as soon as you see me. I will be the woman with a huge smile on my face (and the unruly short grey hair!).

Thank you, again!

Re: Thank you / questions

Hi Andrew: Thanks for getting back to me.

I agree you have the most reasonable price around the city and I am all -wigged out- from my research. Also through my -travels- you were the most considerate of all. No complaints here! Really, my deciding factor is the cap. I am looking for as light a cap as possible.

I would like to see the difference in cap construction and how it feels on the head. If you could accommodate me, I would appreciate it very much.

Best -
Marianne L.

Thank you / questions

Hi Andrew:

I want to thank you for your time last week. I really appreciate all the attention you gave me during a very stressful time.

I have been going to a number of wig stores and consults this week (exhausting and depressing).

You have offered me the best deal of about five different places that I went to. I want you to know this.

I will get back to you by late Tuesday early Wednesday, when I get my treatment plan and make a final decision about what I want to do.

Thank you again... you were a big help to me last week.

Cordially,
Marianne L.

My Wig from ACS

Hey Andrew-

Remember me? You you helped me pick out the short brown wig 2 1/2 weeks ago. Well, my hair fell out last weekend (fast!) and I started wearing the wig last Monday. People couldnt even tell it was a wig! I was shocked. I felt it was like a neon sign on my head but people just thought I had gotten my hair re-styled a bit. Crazy! I cant tell you how much that is helping my confidence. What youre doing is such a great service. Ive been singing your praises to everyone and I finally decided to sing them to you. Anyway, dont be surprised if I take you up on your offer to do my first haircut after it grows back in.

Your generosity has inspired me to do more giving of myself. What a great thing that is!

Sincerely,
Catherine W.

Diane Resnick and her new hair

Dear Andrew,

Thank you so much for my new hair. My family and I all agree that the color is a perfect match and the style is very close to that which I had. I will be more than happy to recommend you to anyone in a similar situation and will be responsive should you give my name as reference. Again thank you for your kind and thoughtful understanding during this difficult time in my life.

Sincerely,
Diane

Hi Andrew,

It was nice seeing you yesterday. Erica took a picture of me with my own hair and then one w/ the wig. As I stood in front of my husband with my wig on, I showed my him both pictures and asked him which one he liked best. He said I looked good in both, but he liked the one w the bigger smile. No detection what-so-ever that my hair was slightly different from picture to picture or that I was wearing it as we spoke.
A job well done Andrew!!!

Question...Do you happen to have access to the baseball caps with attached ponytails? They are great for everyday casual run around. Let me know.

Regards,
Betsy

Hi Andrew,

Hope you are well. I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful experience it was dealing with you and your staff. As you know, it is such an incredibly difficult time for people to deal with this heinous disease and then loose your hair on top of it. The work you do is so amazing and you are blessed with a gift of warmth and sharing. You are so giving and so passionate in helping others it shows all over your face. I only had the pleasure of speaking to you once and meeting you once, but I can assure you, myself, Karen and our two friends that were there felt that same spirit of true compassionate.

You are the best, have a great weekend!
Regards,
Chris

Dear Andrew,

I want to thank you for caring so much and helping my wife style her wig. This was very important to her well being, while she is undergoing her chemo treatment. When I spoke to you on the phone you were very helpful and I knew you were going to do the right thing for her. The fact that you were willing to offer your time and facility for a full hour at no charge was also very generous. The work you do to help all cancer patients is to be commended. Other people should know that the process of buying the wig from another salon was not very enjoyable. They did not take the time to explain all the details like you did. I wish we had come to you first for that purchase, but you certainly made it a better experience.

I will make a point to tell the nurse practitioner at the facility where my wife is going for treatments about your services and your nearby facility. You made my wife smile and that is a big deal in these times. Thanks again for your expertise, caring attitude, and time.

My wife will never forget your sincerity.

Best regards,
Rick S.

Dear Colleen and Andrew,

I know its already been weeks since Mom and I met with you to get her new hair, but I hope you accept this much overdo - thank you - for your love, generosity and support. I think Mom and I were both just shocked silent by your genuine kindness and concern for her well-being...Despite trying my best to always look on the bright side of Moms situation, its been an indescribable road of emotions watching her go through countless failed treatments and endless hospital visits...its never a good thing when a hospital cafeteria staffer or night-shift nurse aid knows you by name. Anyhow, I guess I am speechless as to how I can express my gratitude for giving her so much selfless love - I honestly can not remember the last time I saw her genuinely excited or happy...or even just look into a mirror without closing her eyes...And I can not even begin to tell you how much the whole experience with you will stay with me always.

I know Mom would have written herself as well but she got sick the day after our appointment with Andrew - her face/throat/arms are now almost completely numb and her tumors are growing. Doctors recently told us that we pretty much have no options as she is too weak for treatment/diagnosis still unknown/cancer not responding to any available or new-age treatment and side effects of her medications are almost worse than her illness...We are all kind of a mess because she is going back to urgent care tomorrow but I am still hopeful because Mom had enough energy to get irritated at the fact that I had not contacted either of you until now... I hope this email is not turning into a depressing run-on sentence; I just wanted to say thank you so so much. I hope the next time I write to you, I will have good news to share and a photo of Mom with her hair!

Please keep in touch always.
All of our love,
Myeung, Carol, Han, and Elbe Kim

Dear Mary Ellen,

Thank ME??? !!! Here I sat down to the computer trying to think of what to say to Andrew, to you, to Mitch, to all of you and I open your email and you are thanking US !! Oh my dear girl !! If I could reach up and grab a star from the sky, put it in a box and send it to you, it would not be enough to thank you guys ......It was not the hair that you all gave EllenRose today, it was the utter joy she experienced, the few precious moments when cancer was not part of her day. You gave her mother, my beautiful Geri, the feeling that maybe things will be ok after all. You took little Erin and made her feel so important, such an intricate part of the day. She has suffered too because of her sisters illness. She is the baby of the family you see, has always been the focus of everyone. And now, out of necessity, she is often robbed of her rightful place as - Baby......But not today, oh no !! You saw to that! ...........And me? If they are happy, I am happy. That may sound oversimplified, but that is it in a nutshell..........

I am going to write to you very soon, a really good letter with all the trimmings, but for tonight, I send you my love , my true and deep love dear friend. My heart is not heavy tonight, oh no............I feel peace, something that I have not felt in a very long time. I am going to sleep with a smile on my face, a big fat smile !!

Ellen

PS: Andrew, we are all in love with him.! He is the real deal, I can tell.............and that is a rare thing in this world.............AND HIS KID CAN PLAY THE DRUMS AT TWO YEARS OLD !! Wow ! I bet he is a great Dad, his little one has a wonderful future in store with such a fine man for a Dad.

Aug 17, 2009

Thank you

To all the - Ellens - and the - Erin - I had the pleasure of spending this day with, I could not let this day end without sending you my thanks for allowing me to share such a beautiful day with you.

Tell - the girls - that I had a chance to speak with Mitch later in the day and he is perfectly clear that at some future date he IS going to be in a limo drinking iced tea and having hot fudge sundaes with two beautiful girls in NYC. He said he will look forward to the day, but does the limo have to be pink?

I also had a few moments to look at some of the footage we shot today. The film almost does justice to the smile on Ellen Rose and Erins faces.

Andrew will send you copies of the footage when we have it edited in the near future. And we of course cant wait to peek at any great shots you guys took!

Today, when we said goodbye to you, I walked over to Memorial Sloan to visit my sister-in-law, who hopefully will be able to go home tomorrow.

When she asked how the afternoon went, I told her that I thought we were supposed to be doing something to help Ellen Rose and her family, but I think perhaps we were the ones who were taught the lessons of strength, humility, and the power of love...and the power of Bear Bear!

We are determined to find the resources to make sure all the Ellen Roses of this world are supported by this kind of care.

Thanks again for letting me share all those hugs with you today.

With one more virtual hug,
M. E.

Aug 17, 2009

Thank you

Dear M. E.
As soon as the wig was place on EllenRoses head I could see her face brighten and her whole persona change. At that moment I did not see the sad look in her eyes about not having hair. This gift has given her the boost of self confidence that she needs to get through these difficult times.
It was a pleasure meeting you and I am eternely grateful for the work of Andrew and his team. I am so happy that you introduced the girls to a real rock star. I have to say I was very excited by the whole experience and held back my happy tears because EllenRose does not like it when I cry for any reason. You are a real sweet person with a heart of gold. Thank you for all that you do!
So far EllenRose had had a great week with her new hair and is enjoying every minute of it. Tuesday morning we went out to the store and she bought a bunch of hair supplies and had fun all day trying them out and with the gifts you gave her too! On Wednesday afternoon she went swimming and it was a major success for her to have this long and lovely hair! I told her she looked like a mermaid! Today she asked me to braid her hair so I created her a lovely French braid! Since yesterday she has washed her hair twice! I love calling it - her hair.

Tomorrow we are off to Westchester for treatment and EllenRose cant wait to show off her new hair!

Blessings & Love,
Geri

An Angel and an Artist

From the moment I spoke to Andrew at his shop in New York, terrified that I would be starting chemo in a few days, his spirit was so gentle and he went out of his way to accommodate that I could not travel to the city. I met him the day after my first session to a haircut and to be fitted for a wig. His quite spirit, concerning nature and his desire to make my new short do help me to feel beautiful was the exact medicine I needed. I pick up my new wig on Tuesday and I plan to call her Angel Andy. Thank you, Andrew for everything you helped to heal in me today. God Bless

My experience with Andrew

Met Andrew through The American Cancer Society. He gives of his very talented self to make others feel better about themselves. He took a synthetic wig and styled it and layered it until it was beautiful. i can imagine what he can do with natural hair whether wigs or your own hair. I am sold on Andrew.

Feeling good about yourself is a real key to healing and Andrew knows this and his goal is to make women feel beautiful. Caring is the key to healing. Bless him...

Pros: Extremely talented and compassionate person

looking for someone special

Loosing my long and healthy hair was one of the hardest things during my chemo treatment. I had the opportunity to get three wigs, but I couldn’t see myself in any of them. A friend of mine told me about Andrew and she personally made an appointment for me to see him. Getting to know Andrew has been a tremendous blessing! He is extremely talented and he is such an inviting person. He made me feel very comfortable and confident the minute I met him. The sweetness and gentleness in his voice would made anyone feel good. Andrew is truly an artist! My wigs look great! They look so natural. People that don’t know what I have been through think that it is my own hair. Everyone has been asking me who is the one that did such a great job with my hair ; )

Andrew you are a wonderful person. You have a heart touched by the Lord!

Great hair and great guy!

Buying a wig for the first time can be a very upsetting experienceand that’s precisely why Andrew is so very special. He immediately put me at ease and helped me pick out the perfect wig for my face.

He also is an amazing stylist. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather buy a wig from.

Gratefully,

Excellent service

I write this review with the highest recommendation. The service was excellent. I spoke to Andrew regarding my mother and the next day he sent a representative to my mother’s house for a consultation.

The representatives was very efficient and friendly. She made us feel comfortable and was very helpful in helping us decide. Within a week, the wig was in and they called my mother to schedule an appointment. While there she was treated very nice. Andrew was very compassionate and made sure she was happy with what she was getting. He cut and styled it to her liking. She thought she would feel weird wearing a wig but it’s so realistic that she feels as if it’s her own hair. People constantly complement her hair. Thank you for making my mother happy at a difficult time in her life.

An oasis among the madness

In the craziness of the city, where you can barely find the time to make an appointment, Face Station is there with easy service, a smile and a great system for reservations. They make it easy to get in and get a great cut!

Andrew is charming- a great conversationalist with an easy manner. He tells great stories and truly cares about his customers. The environment is casual and entertaining. No pretense.

But this is not just a personality, service joint. The cut is GREAT. Stylish, fresh. With haircoloring another area of strength.

Go to Face Station. You’ll be happy. A good friend recommended Andrew to me and I’ve been back ever since.

Pros: A haircut, with ease and personality
Cons: no free food- maybe Andrew will add that!

Best Service and Quality Wigs

The staff of this salon is very caring, genuine, and helpful. The service was great. Andrew was very caring and sincere. He made sure that the client was satisfied. The fee was more than resonable for the service and the quality of the wig. No unnecessary charges were requested. It is the most trustworthy place. I recommend this place highly.

Pros: Best service, trustworthy, and best quality wigs

If it’s not broke then don’t fix it!!!

Ten years ago, I came to visit my friend who was getting her hair colored by Andrew at Face Station. I could feel him checking out my hair color, so I finally asked him how he would color my hair. Andrew was so convinced that I would like what he did that he agreed to show me what he could do, free of charge. Within a matter of seconds, I was in the chair and the outcome was amazing. During the 10 years I strayed twice...and returned both times with my tail between my legs both times. No one could color my hair like Andrew and no one was as interested in saving my hair like Andrew. The condition of my hair went from bad to great thanks to Andrew’s methods and philosophies. To call Andrew a hair academic would be very apropos. Andrew doesn’t just cut and color your hair, he learns it. Andrew’s 22 years experience coupled with his passion for learning new methods makes Andrew the best out there.

Get the ooohh! from Andrew

What can I say about Andrew DiSimone at Face Station, is that I cheated on him......and he took me back. I tried to convince myself that convenience was more important than quality when I tried a salon closer to my home in Connecticut. Boy was I wrong! Just because it’s local- doesn’t mean it’s good. Someone said to me once, “You wear your hair everyday, you should get the best cut, color, and style you can afford.” Don’t be lured in by the fancy addresses and panache of declaring that “so-and-so” does my hair, if you’re broke and unhappy with the results.

I’m a TJMaxx kinda girl, I love to find that expensive designer label at a fraction of the cost. If you know quality when you see it, and you can get it at a price you can afford, it’s a screaming BUY! That’s how I feel about Andrew.... I can walk in 3 months after my cut, and it still looks good.

The oooh factor is what I call that reaction you get when your hair is done, and you look in the mirror and coo, “Oooooh Andrew, I love it!” While I’m there getting my hair done, I do it to other patrons. Everyone leaves there looking fantastic, they are smiling and admiring their new look.

Andrew is a full service stylist, working multiple chairs, performing a juggling act of cuts, colors, and blowouts. In addition to highlighting, he will sit with you and talk about what works best for your face shape, coloring, and lifestyle, all the while talking and listening to you and what’s happening in your life. And don’t forget to ask him for thhe “F**k Me whisps” it’s my favorite part of the hair cut....but you’ll have to find out for yourself what they are.

Ask for Osbet when you get your hair washed....he gives the most orgazzmic head massage during shampooing, that I’d go back just for that.

Do yourself a favor, and go to Face Station, ask for Andrew DiSimone and get yourself a hairstyle that you can “wear everyday” that has the "f**k me" whisps and the "oooh factor" you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time at Face Station (I won a gift certificate in a raffle) and I was extremely impressed by David’s attention and skill, the warmth and professionalism of the staff, and the fabulous head mmmmassage that came with the hairwash.

I have very long, straight hair which needs body and control because I am a bellydancer -- so my hair not only has to look good; it must behave itself when I throw it around!

After a 10-minute consultation, David knew exactly what to do, and gave my hair a perfect cut (AND he only took off two inches, as I’d requested!), plus he showed me some styling suggestions with the dryer and curling iron to compliment the new cut.

On the whole, it was an excellent experience, and I and my unruly locks are very happy!

Pros: Great Work Nice People
Cons: None

Andrew and his staff at Face Station are very talented overall in all areas of hairdressing, but they are really the only place to go to if you are looking for hair extentions or a way to cover thinning hair. Andrew give you as much time as you need and makes you feel good about yourself. You will leave very satisfied!

Great haircut!

After many visits to many different stylists I have found my panacea! Andrew DiSimone impressed me with his ability to take one look at my hair and face and know EXACTLY what haircut I needed to look great. Give him a picture, and voila! You look just like the photo. In addition, to his extraordinary gift he is honest, warm, full of life, and not to mention handsome. His staff is equally as pleasant. I look forward to a soothing scalp massages and the great haircut. I have to say that I like it just as much as an hour at the spa. You’re the best Andrew!!!!

Best Haircut and Color EVER!

I live in Vermont and for 10 years I’ve been coming to Andrew at Face Station for haircuts and highlights. They are the best ever. Andrfew approaches a cut wholistically. I can go for months between cuts and color and my hair still looks great, receiving lots of compliments.

Andrew DiSimone is a hair genius!!

I have been going to Andrew for over 8 years for cut and color and will not let anyone touch my hair. Prior to my finding him (which was a recommendation from a friend), I had been going to a very upscale well-known salon in NYC. After paying riduculously high prices, long waits and finally having had enough when my highlights looked like a skunk, it was Andrew who was able to fix my hair. He is the MAN for blondes and is very responsive to a client’s lifestyle and needs. His haircuts are fabulous and they last.

I highly recommend him and the salon (great products too!) and will continue to send anyone his way.

Superb Hairdresser

Andrew DiSimone, co-owner of Face Station, is a hair artist. I have been going to him for more than twelve years which is a reflection of how highly I esteem his skills as both a colorist and stylist. In addition to his talent, Andrew is always responsive to the client’s desires. I recommend him in the strongest possible terms.

Amazing Colorist

Andrew DiSimone is awesome! His color always looks so natural and fresh. It really is, just an all out pleasure getting your hair done at Face Station. Whatever time of year it is, and whatever elements seem to be affecting my hair, Andrew balances it to look so ’normal’ and seasonal. This past summer I had the most amazing color and people who’ve known me for years were like - ’wow, great color on you‘, when the tan started to fade, he brought me back to a more appropriate fall/winter look and I got the same complaints.

Great energy, great artist, great place - Go!

I’ll never let anyone else cut my hair!

Andrew has been cutting my hair for over 15 years and I will never go anywhere else. My first experience with Andrew was asking him to cut my almost waist length hair to about 2 inches all over. I’ve never been sorry and I’ve never left his salon unhappy. I’ve got difficult hair (to put it mildly) and before I’d met Andrew, if I got a decent hair cut, I either wouldn’t be able to recreate the style on my own or the hair cutter wouldn’t be able to make it look good two cuts in a row. When my first ”grays“ appeared, Andrew began doing my color and I can’t even begin to count the number of compliments I’ve received over the years. For me, the bottom line is how my hair looks away from the salon, not how many people fawn on me in the salon. Andrew never disappoints.

Pros: Best hair and color ever
Cons: Can’t think of a thing (if there were any, I wouldn’t have stuck around for 15+ years)

Great energy, great artist, great place - Go!

I have been going to Facestation for 12 years and Andrew is the most talented stylist and colorist in NYC or anywhere for that matter. I would fly back to NY from California just to get my hair done at Facestation. You can’t go wrong getting your hair done by Andrew. He is a true professional. The best.
